HOW TO KILL YOUR SON BY BEING A FUCKING RETARD

How religious beliefs can get you killed.

There's a story I read in college in a chronicle about Life in Jerusalem after the 1st crusade for the European knights that stayed behind. There was a knight with a wounded leg. A local, Islamic doctor said the injury was no big deal and that a small poultice would cleanse the wound kill any infection and that the leg would heal. The Islamic world's knowledge of medicine and science were light years ahead of western Europe's at that time. A Catholic Hospitaller priest objected to the knight being cured by a Muslim and the French doctors said only amputation would save the man's life so they amputated his leg. Within a few days, the stump got infected and the infection spread through the man's groin to his other leg. Again, the Muslim doctor said he could probably stop the infection and save the man's life but the priests and doctors objected. They cut off the other leg and the knight bled to death.

By now I'm sure most people have heard about the tragic death of John Travolta's son, Jett. According to the TMZ type of websites, Jet died after having a seizure in a hotel bathtub in the Bahamas while on vacation with the family. Supposedly, according to the Travoltas he suffered from a disease that small children get called Kawasaki Syndrome. Total bullshit.

For years I've been reading about how his son had autism but that because of Travolta and His wife, Kelly Preston's adherence to the sham that is the Church of Scientology, they would not seek professional help or any kind of proven therapy for the boy. According to the knuckleheaded cult they belong to, there are no actual mental illnesses. Everything is caused by the corpses of tiny dead aliens living within your brain. Nothing a good "cleanse" can't cure. That's why Tom Cruise famously went on the Today show and made a fool out of himself railing against psychology in general and alluding that ailments such as post partum depression don't really exist. Expect in the next few days to hear a whole chorus chiming in about how the kid was autistic and that they never sought the proper kind of help.

Children with severe autism are often plagued by the type of seizures that jet was known to have. The Travolta's blamed it on rug cleaning products, everyone who isn't a complete idiot would have had him diagnosed and in a program to lessen the effects of autism like teaching him to speak, which, if you believe the snitches in the tabloids, the 16 year old, Jett, didn't. A normal person would also have their son on medication to limit the frequency and severity of the seizures. The real Shame is that if they just had the gotten kid diagnosed early enough by real physicians who know what they're doing, then many of the symptoms would be greatly lessened and, if there were any environmental factors which some people think accacerbate the condition, they could have been rooted out and maybe lessened some apects of his disability.

Now from what I've read, the last time anyone saw Jett alive, he was going into the bathroom alone at night. They found him dead in the bathtub the next morning. Sounds fishy to Ted. This is my prediction, I could be completely wrong but I would not be surprised if they were trying to do some cleanse/detox ritual on him and they fucked up and killed him. It's happened before

Even if the poor kid died the way the Travolta people are saying he did, he had a seizure, hit his head and drowned. Why the hell is an autistic kid that has seizures alone in a bathtub? I feel bad for The family but at the same time I can't help but feel that if they didn't belong to an idiotic cult then their kid might still be alive.

1) NO association between Kawasaki and "toxic carpet cleaning chemicals" (or any other environmental cause) has ever been established. Given that these chemicals are ubiquitous in our society, if there were an association I would expect Kawasaki to be much more common.

2) As far as I know, Kawasaki disease does not lead to brain injury or seizures. I suppose one could conjecture that if Jett had untreated heart problems from Kawasaki (which CAN happen) this could have led to a heart attack that led to seizures and death, but it sounds like Jett had seizures for a long time, which makes this a bit of a reach.

3) It would be incredibly rare to bump your head and die from a seizure.

We see children every day with seizures, and not once have I seen a child bump his head hard enough to have a brain injury from this. Of course, prolonged seizures or seizures that occur while doing something dangerous (driving, swimming, etc.) can lead to brain injury, but otherwise this is a stretch. Also, autistic children can exhibit self-injurious behavior, especially if untreated, and can exhibit behavior such as intentianally hitting their heads against walls or other hard objects. It is much more likely that a head injury led to brain injury (the cause of death) and the seizure than the other way around.

4) For John Travolta (and the news media) to report that Jett died from either Kawasaki or a seizure is incredibly irresponsible. I gurantee you that we will see 30 children in our emergency department in the coming days whose parents have read this trash and are worried that their child is at risk for death from one of these causes, and every parent with a child who has a seizure disorder will now lose more sleep because of this BS.
